瓜沥镇是浙江省杭州市萧山区下辖的镇，位于萧山区东部，航坞山麓，镇政府驻航坞路220号。政府网站称瓜沥是千年古镇，建镇于公元978年。[1][2]

2013年9月行政区划调整后，原瓜沥镇、坎山镇、党山镇合并设立新的瓜沥镇。政府网站2021年载，镇域面积126.9平方公里，辖13个社区、61个行政村。[1]

名称[edit]

据传，清乾隆时钱塘江北移，塘北一带淤成沙地，适合种瓜；瓜熟时裂口流出甜汁，因此得名瓜沥。另一名称为塘头，缘于本镇位于本区北海塘东端。[2]

行政沿革[edit]

1951年设瓜沥镇；1958年曾划入红旗公社；1961年恢复镇建制；1992年，大园、昭东与瓜沥三乡合并入镇。[2]

2013年，经浙江省政府批准，瓜沥、坎山、党山三镇取消建制，并入新设的瓜沥镇；批复时辖11个社区、63个行政村。[2]

人文与名胜[edit]

本镇名人荟萃，汪辉祖（绍兴师爷）、任伯年（海派画家）与杨之华（妇女活动家）皆出于此；古迹有白龙寺、地藏寺、十里长街、许氏南大房等，非遗技艺则有萝卜干、老大昌酱品与萧山花边。[1]

航坞山上的白龙寺为北宋熙宁年间（1068年至1077年）所建，现存后殿为明代建筑，最后一次修建在清道光十一年（1831年）。地藏寺据博雅地名网载，始建于宋熙宁六年（1073年）。[2]

航坞山[edit]

航坞山位于瓜沥镇，又名龛山、王步山，主峰海拔299米，占地约9平方千米，为国家4A级风景区。[3]

经济[edit]

政府网站载，瓜沥是工业强镇：工业企业2906家，其中规上330家；规划工业用地约2.1万亩。2023年规上工业产值443.5亿元，实现财政总收入25.4亿元。辖区现有围垦土地2.6万亩。[1]
