地理环境[edit]
萧绍运河和北海塘从村中穿过，东面连着衙前村，西面连着新林周村[2]。村域面积约1.1平方千米，耕地面积20.2公顷，均为博雅地名网概况所载，未注年份[2]。
行政区划[edit]
村辖吟龙闸、大树下、何三房、新桥头、湾头徐五个自然村，设15个村民小组。博雅地名网载全村农户424户，总人口1740人，未注统计年份[2]。
历史沿革[edit]
1930年，村属萧山县第五区新林乡。1935年为新盈乡第8保。1941年曾被日军侵占，属伪萧山衙前维持会[3]。
1947年为吟龙乡第2保。合作化初期，村内有团结、拥新、盈丰、新龙几个初级社，新龙高级社则于1956年由它们合并而成[3]。
1958年10月，此地归入坎山人民公社。1959年，它成为螺山公社建设管理区的新龙大队；1961年改属蜀山区螺山公社。1984年，新龙大队改称吟龙村。1992年起为衙前镇吟龙村[3]。
荣誉[edit]
2020年12月，村入选「2020年浙江省卫生村」名单[1]。
