地理环境[edit]
村子坐落在大螺山山脚，由山南畈、蒋沈、夏家桥、后陈、徐家五个自然村合成[4]。东边挨着杨汛村，北边是南庄王村，南面临西小江，新螺公路和杭甬铁路从村境穿过[2]。
人口[edit]
全村共473户农家，总人口2007人，其中外来人口950人[4]。
历史沿革[edit]
北宋太平兴国三年（978年）时，此地属履仁乡杨新里。元至元十六年（1279年）划入二十二都七图，名为螺山庄。清宣统二年（1910年）归仁化乡[3]。
1921年下半年，衙前农民运动兴起，夏家桥一带设立了农民协会[3]。1930年划为萧山第五区螺山乡，1934年改属衙前区新盈乡[3]。
1949年5月，村改属吟龙乡。1958年10月，村成为坎山公社螺山管理区下的一个大队。1984年改为螺山乡螺山村，1992年5月起归衙前镇[3]。
荣誉[edit]
2021年5月，村被命名为萧山区2020年度「平安村（社区）」[1]。博雅地名网还载，村曾被评为「杭州市美丽乡村精品村」[2]。
