金临湖村是浙江省杭州市萧山区所前镇下辖的行政村，位于所前镇政府南侧，东与绍兴县交界，南为新开的杭甬运河。[1]金临湖村由塘下金、渔临关与里士湖原先的三个行政村并成。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村的西北边界是03省道东复线，所前大道穿村而过，另有一条镇商贸路横贯全村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

塘下金村旧时是来苏乡政府的驻地。北宋以前此地归萧山县崇化乡，元代以后划为十九都二十图，清末宣统年间划入湘东乡。[1]

民国17年村改隶萧山县第一区，民国23年推行保甲制，归东蜀乡。1958年，村划入城南公社的来苏管理区，成为新联生产队；1961年设来苏公社的塘下金大队，1984年改为村民委员会。[1]

2006年底统计：856户（外来住户233户），总计2998人，外来人口700人，分为22个村民小组。[1]
