历史沿革[edit]
村名因位于苎萝村的东北面而得。2005年5月村规模调整时，汀联、邱家桥两个行政村合并为苎东村。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村子位于临浦镇东北角。东北面与所前镇的袄庄陈、东复、三里王村为邻，西侧与本镇白鹿塘村相接。[2]
人口民族[edit]
据2022年发布的村概况，全村有433户，1600人，村民小组8个，村民代表73名，党员82名。[2]
经济[edit]
村内土地已全部实行流转，村民享有股金、流转金和股利等收入。[2]
文化[edit]
村庄获得「2021年浙江省卫生村」「浙江省2020年度省级民主法治村（社区）」等荣誉称号，也曾获「浙江省文明村」「浙江省信用村」「浙江省善治村」等称号。[1][2]
