历史沿革[edit]
村名本作“白露塘”，源于村东的荻径塘。这里是临浦湖西岸的堤塘，堤上芦苇开花时一片雪白，似有露水蘸头，后取谐音改为白鹿塘。[1][2]
人民公社化时，白鹿塘与鲁家坞曾联成一个生产大队，隶属苧东管理区，1959年分开；1983年取消人民公社后，改为白鹿塘村委会，此后与鲁家坞、邱家坞合为一个村委会。[2]
地理环境[edit]
村庄紧邻杭金衢高速公路，浙赣铁路与03省道复线也经过村域，杭金公路贯穿全村。村域面积约1.5平方千米，呈带状分布在省道两侧。[1][2]
人口民族[edit]
据2022年发布的村概况，村内有汤、鲁、邱三大姓，全村有1895人，党员90人，村民代表58人。[2]
经济[edit]
村内出产茶叶、柑橘、水蜜桃、板栗、柿子等，并引进淡水珍珠养殖，建成萧山第一大淡水珍珠养殖场。[1]
文化[edit]
荻径塘曾是萧山十景之一，也是白鹿塘八景之一。[2]
2021年12月，白鹿塘村被命名为「2021年浙江省3A级景区村庄」。[1]
