历史沿革[edit]
2005年5月村规模调整时，潼江、从塘、塘郎姚三村合并为临一村。原属的李家自然村已于2009年注销。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村子地处临浦镇西南边，南面紧邻浦阳江，东侧临03省道，是沿江景观线最长的行政村。村域西南与戴村镇、义桥镇接壤。[1][2]
人口民族[edit]
据2022年发布的村概况，全村共654户、2654人，在镇内算是人口较多的村庄。党员110人，村民代表52人。[2]
文化[edit]
2011年6月，村子被列为杭州市「三江两岸」美丽乡村精品村的创建对象，此后村里把精品村创建作为主要工作。[1]
村庄获「萧山区2020年度平安村（社区）」称号。村名的来历，博雅地名网称因为临浦镇第一大村而得名。[1]
