历史沿革[edit]
民国时期此地属四都十图。1949年5月以后归通济乡，合作化时期设通二农业社。人民公社时期隶属临浦公社通济管理区，改称通二大队；1961年转属通济公社，1969年划归所前公社，1971年又回到通济公社。[1][2]
1984年改为通济乡下的通二村；1992年5月归临浦镇通济办事处，1998年5月起直属临浦镇。[1][2]
地理环境[edit]
村委会设在庙前下段自然村。村域东与所前镇三泉王村接壤，南邻苎萝村，西面以塘郎孙村为界，北面临杭甬运河。[2]
人口民族[edit]
据2022年发布的村概况，村内下辖8个自然村，包括庙前下段、青山张等。外来人口2850人，在册人口则为2113人；户数556户，党员100名。[2]
文化[edit]
村内保留有西施娘娘庙与浣纱溪，都属于西施文化古迹的遗存。[2]
2018年起村内推行垃圾分类，2020年9月开始运营村级老年食堂。该村曾获「浙江省民主法治村」「浙江省善治示范村」等称号。[2]
