自由孔社区是浙江省杭州市萧山区临浦镇西部的社区，位于集镇以西，南临浦阳江，东至峙山西路，西至临浦镇初级中学。[1]

社区原名峙后孔，1927年成立农会后改称自由孔，取农民要自由之意。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

相传孔氏祖先随宋高宗南迁，定居衢州，孔氏第52世万善公由衢州迁来临浦，因村在峙山之后，名为峙后孔。[1]

新中国成立后，此地为自由乡辖地。1956年，这里组建了雄伟农业社。人民公社化后，划为临浦公社大庄管理区下的自由孔大队；1961年，改由大庄公社管辖。1984年，村里成立村民委员会，归大庄乡。[1]

1992年5月归临浦镇大庄办事处，1998年5月起直属临浦镇，同年9月改为自由孔居委会，2005年8月改为自由孔社区。[1]

地理环境[edit]

社区总面积0.44平方千米，已融入集镇区，是首批由农业行政村改为集镇居民村之一。[1]

社区周边与戴家桥、柏山陈、前孔、王村等社区村为邻，东侧连接临东社区。[1]

文化[edit]

2021年5月，社区获评萧山区2020年度「平安村（社区）」。[1]
