詹家埭社区是浙江省杭州市萧山区临浦镇西部的社区，位于镇政府以西约1.5千米处，西面与南面濒临浦阳江，03省道由社区东侧穿过。村名因詹氏聚居、村南临西江塘而得。[1][2]

社区于2005年8月经萧山区人民政府批准，设为詹家埭社区居民委员会。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期，此地先属萧山苎萝四都七图，后划入戴村区苎西乡10保，又改设苎萝乡。[2]

新中国成立后，此地划归临浦区自由乡；随后又并入临浦区大庄乡。合作化阶段组建了詹家埭低级社，1961年又成为大庄公社下属的詹家埭大队。[2]

1984年起称村民委员会，属大庄乡。1992年5月起划为大庄办事处所辖，1998年5月转由临浦镇直辖。2001年8月改居民村，2005年8月定名詹家埭社区。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

社区位于临浦镇以西，东面与自由孔社区接壤，北面与谭家埭社区相邻，西面和南面濒临浦阳江，水陆交通便利。[2]

社区办公地点位于临浦镇人民路141号。[2]

人口民族[edit]

据2022年发布的社区概况，社区土地总面积183.7亩，其中山林13亩、水面10亩；总户数110户，总人口465人，全部为非农人口。[2]
