历史沿革[edit]
谭家埭原属自由乡（1949年5月之后）。合作化时成立谭家埭高级社，1956年并入大庄乡。之后的人民公社阶段，它处于临浦公社大庄管理区之内，称为谭家埭大队。1961年划给大庄公社；1984年设村民委员会，1992年5月起归临浦镇大庄办事处，1998年5月直属临浦镇。[1]
2001年8月起设谭家埭居委会，至2005年8月改称谭家埭社区。[1]
地理环境[edit]
社区南邻前孔社区，北侧一直延伸到萧山联发电化厂。03省道由境内穿过，出行方便。[1]
文化[edit]
社区于2006年2月新建医疗室，同年9月设立「星光老年之家」，2007年至2008年建成两个健身广场，并建有科普宣传栏。[2]
