高田陈社区是浙江省杭州市萧山区临浦镇东南部的社区，位于镇政府驻地东南约1.5千米处，南面靠近浦阳江。村名因坐落在田畈中的较高处、陈氏聚居而得。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网记载，陈姓先祖祖籍义乌大陈，南宋时（1195年）迁居此地。[1]

村概况则称，祖先瑞三公举家落户高田陈已有650年。两说的年代不同，此处并存。[2]

1949年5月后，此地属绍兴县溋湖乡，同年9月划归萧山县苎东乡。合作化之初编入联欢高级社；人民公社时期归临浦公社管理区，称高田陈大队。1961年改由通济公社管辖，1969年划入所前公社，1971年再回到通济公社。1984年设高田陈村民委员会，1992年5月归临浦镇通济办事处，1998年5月起直属临浦镇。2001年8月起称高田陈居委会，2005年8月才正式更名为高田陈社区。[1][3]

地理环境[edit]

社区东面与进化镇麻溪坝相接，南面靠浦阳江，西面与北面临临浦老集镇。社区总面积约1.5平方千米，管辖塘里陈、傅家等4个自然村。[1][2]

民国21年，临浦火车站设在社区内的站台，承载着萧山南部居民第一次乘坐火车的记忆。火车站2005年拆除，浙赣电气化铁路与杭黄铁路仍穿过社区。[2]

人口民族[edit]

据2022年发布的社区概况，社区有500户农户，人口1880人，外来人口400多人，党员99名，下设党支部3个。[2]

文化[edit]

村内以陈姓为大姓。2016年4月，陈氏宗亲完成《高田陈陈氏宗谱》第八次续修。[2]

社区党总支曾多年被评为区先进党组织，并获得区卫生社区、安全文明社区、文明社区等荣誉。[2]
