欢潭村位于萧山区南部、进化镇东南，地处浦阳江东岸，与诸暨交界，03省道东复线穿村而过。[1][2]

村名的来由：南宋时岳飞去诸暨店口看望陈协，途经此地饮用潭中泉水而欢，故名欢潭。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

2005年5月村规模调整后，东坞、傅家、欢潭三个村合并为欢潭村。村子现由欢潭、东坞、傅家三个自然村组成。[1][2]

人口民族[edit]

在册党员155名，下设36个村民小组；据2022年11月发布的村概况，村中人口3900余人。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

古韵欢潭景区是一处近千年的古村落，保留着完整的明清建筑群，村中一条近千米长的明清老街贯穿全村，两旁是鳞次栉比的店铺。[3]

务本堂建于清同治七年（1868年），由时任镇江丹徒知县的田祚建造，前后三进，北靠狮子山，前临欢潭溪。2017年1月13日，它被列为第七批浙江省文物保护单位。[3]

二桥书屋修建于清代中叶，据博雅地名网所载是萧山现存唯一的清代书屋；欢潭老洋房为民国时期的仿西式小洋楼。二者与务本堂一样，于2017年1月13日列入第七批浙江省文物保护单位。[3]

村民传承“义”的风气，村中义仓、义学、义渡、义诊、义葬五项传统义举世代相沿。[2]

2021年5月，欢潭村获评「萧山区2020年度平安村（社区）」。[1]
