大汤坞新村位于进化镇境内，四面环山，东临03省道，由大汤坞、新垫黄、席家、汤山四个村于2005年5月合并而成。[1][3]

2005年5月，大汤坞新村由大汤坞、新垫黄、席家、汤山四村合为一村。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

汤寿潜故居包括祖宅与新宅两处。区、镇两级于2017年和2020年整体修缮两处房屋，2018年新宅布置为陈列馆；该故居于2023年7月被列为浙江省文物保护单位，属第八批。[3]

汤寿潜纪念碑位于村东南，于2009年4月列入杭州市市级文物保护单位（第四批）。[3]

文化[edit]

萧山区美丽乡村示范村的2020年创建名录（2020年9月公布）上有大汤坞新村；2022年10月，村子列入第六批中国传统村落名录。[1][2]

2021年5月，大汤坞新村获评「萧山区2020年度平安村（社区）」。[1]
