村庄三面环山，大湄公路穿村而过，距03省道东复线仅半公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地原叫涂里坞，早先也称孙祝涂里坞。1956年改名，由来是村东太阳山下三条山坑汇于村中，形如川字。[1]

解放后，此村属萧山县象山乡，名涂里坞村；1956年起定名涂川村，沿用至今。[1]

文化[edit]

2021年5月，涂川村获评「萧山区2020年度平安村（社区）」。[1]
