华家垫村位于进化镇东面，村内有曹山寺，是当地的风景旅游地，与墅上王村、平阳村、华锋村等相邻。[1]

村内原以华姓聚居，故称华家垫；“垫”指地势低洼、易被水浸。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地华姓先祖据传是元末从金华汤溪迁来的。民国二十年，村址归绍兴七都十二图；1938年的《绍兴县志资料》已见华家垫之名。[1]

解放后，此地先归绍兴县富岭乡，1950年10月改属萧山县。当时的合作社称联丰高级农村生产合作社；公社时期成为联丰大队，1961年改名华家垫大队。1984年4月，进化乡设立华家垫村民委员会，1992年起隶进化镇。[1]

文化[edit]

2021年5月，华家垫村获评「萧山区2020年度平安村（社区）」。[1]
