新河口村是萧山区浦阳镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域中心地带，地势平坦，公路交通便利。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村庄坐落在新开河的河口处，村名由此而来。民国时期的《萧山县志稿》已载有该村名。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

民国二十年，此地归四都二十图管辖。1949年5月以后划入桃源乡，农业合作化时曾组建农业生产合作社；1956至1957年间曾划归诸暨县；公社化后设新河口大队，归桃源公社管理；1984年改为村民委员会，仍在桃源乡；1992年起划入浦阳镇。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2021年5月，村被命名为「萧山区2020年度平安村（社区）」。[1]
