舜湖村是萧山区浦阳镇下辖的行政村，位于镇南部，紧靠浦阳江。村庄三面环山，一面临江，1992年起属浦阳镇。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村名的来历有一段传说：古时有一位名叫舜的人在湖边耕作，因孝敬后母，感动天帝而被封为帝，后人在村中立祠纪念。村名「舜湖」即由此而来。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

民国二十年（1931年）此地归四都二十图管辖；1949年5月以后划入安山乡。1956至1957年间一度划归诸暨县。公社化后设舜湖大队，并入桃源公社；1984年改为村民委员会，归桃源乡；1992年起划入浦阳镇。[1][4]

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，村被命名为「2021年浙江省卫生村」；同年5月被命名为「萧山区2020年度平安村（社区）」。2023年，村被评为省级引领型农村社区。[1][2][5]
