东风村位于戴村镇东大门，紧挨03省道，地处河谷平原区。村内五金产业是村级特色产业。[1]

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，2005年5月22日调整行政村规模时，西周、东周、何童埠三个村合并建立东风村，村名沿用至今。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1961年，村归永兴桥公社，当时分为西周、东周、何童埠三个大队；1971年又改归永兴人民公社。[2]1984年5月起村属永兴乡，设立乡村建制；1992年5月永兴乡并入戴村镇，村随之属戴村镇。[2]

荣誉[edit]

据2024年政府工作报告，东风村获「2023年度浙江省和美乡村特色精品村」称号。[3]2021年12月，村庄被命名为「2021年浙江省卫生村」；2021年5月被命名为「萧山区2020年度“平安村（社区）”」。[1]2020年1月，村庄在「浙江省2019年度“省级民主法治村（社区）”」名单中。[1]
