在2005年5月的村规模调整中，金坞、鲍坞、上山头三个村并为一村，即东山村。[2]

地理环境[edit]

东山村位于道林山北麓，与绍兴、诸暨相邻，占地面积8.66平方千米，下辖3个自然村落。[1]

人口[edit]

村中常住人口为1644人，登记在册的户籍人口则为2835人，此数据来自2022年村概况。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2016年12月，东山村被列入「第四批中国传统村落」名录；2019年12月，东山村被命名为「2019年浙江省3A级景区村庄」。[2]

2024年1月，东山村入选「浙江省第三批省级未来乡村」名单。[2]

据2023年镇政府工作报告，东山村与凤凰坞村在省级农家乐集聚村的验收中均获通过。[3]
