地名由来[edit]
因位于萧山最南端，村庄得名萧南。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
民国二十年间此地属三都二十图。1951年起，长山坞、田村两村分立，1958年各设大队，1984年复为两村，直至2005年5月合为萧南村。[1]
地理环境与人口[edit]
村域为典型的萧山南部丘陵山区，村辖的自然村数与人口各有出入。据博雅地名网，村辖长山坞、金畈、田村、江畈四个自然村，现有农户722户，人口2469人；据百度百科，村辖七个自然村，户籍人口2612人，农户则为758户。[1][2]
村庄位于永兴河源头、百药山山麓，据百度百科，村内6000多亩山林中，大多为毛竹林。[2]
产业与文化[edit]
村内以茶山与竹编为主要产业。据百度百科，村民中有25名篾编技艺人，村庄获评文化艺术村（编织村），被称为省篾编之乡。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2021年5月，萧南村被命名为「萧山区2020年度平安村（社区）」。[1]
