这是一个隶属萧山区楼塔镇的行政村，地处镇中心东北部；镇人民政府，以及派出所、中小学、汽车站、卫生院等单位都设在村内。村庄由楼一、楼四、林场三村合并组成，面积约3.3平方千米，登记在册的户籍人口为2619人。[1][2]
地名由来[edit]
村名是为纪念楼氏第十五世祖、医学家楼英（1332年—1401年）而取的。[2]
地理环境[edit]
村庄以东为管村村，南面连接楼家塔村，西面与雀山岭村为邻，北边抵达雪环桥头村。村内长街贯穿，19省道与沿村公路通往各方。[1][2]
全村常住村民760户，流动人口837人，耕地1196亩（围垦部分155亩），山林3248亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
楼一、楼四、林场三村在2005年5月并为一村，即楼英村。[2]
文物与遗迹[edit]
楼英墓的墓址在村内元宝基山的乌珠荡一带；墓基为石砌，外形呈半椭圆，碑面字样为单线阴刻楷书。[3]
楼英墓及祠堂列入杭州市第四批市级文物保护单位，时间为2009年4月。[3][2]
荣誉[edit]
村庄获得浙江省「国乐乡村」优秀建设单位的称号，此外还有文明村、卫生村、生态村、平安村等荣誉；2019年12月被命名为「2019年浙江省3A级景区村庄」，2023年3月被认定为「2022年度浙江省善治村」。[1][2]
