丰东社区位于萧山区盈丰街道，前身为丰东村。村庄拆迁持续约十年，2016年整村拆完，2021年由村转为社区，辖区面积0.76平方公里，紧邻地铁二号线。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

丰东一带原为钱塘江滩涂，八九十年前，头蓬、义盛、坎山、新湾等地因坍江而迁来的灾民在此开垦，渐成村落。[2]

1949年5月后村子归盈丰乡管辖。1961年建丰东大队，隶属盈丰公社；其后的1969年曾并入宁围公社，直到1971年才复回盈丰公社。1984年设丰东村民委员会，一度隶属盈丰乡；1992年划归宁围镇，2014年归宁围街道，2020年改属盈丰街道。[2]

2020年，钱江之光名城小区被纳入村辖网格治理，2021年完成村转居。[1]

名称[edit]

丰东因地处盈丰盛米店的东面而得名，2021年经区政府审核命名为丰东社区。[3]

辖区[edit]

辖区北界为机场城市大道与济仁路，南界是文明路，东界为永晖路和民和路，西界为金鸡路。辖区下辖丰东花苑、顺丰家园两个安置小区和钱江之光名城一个商品房小区，共计5056户家庭，总人口约18000人。[1]
