山末址村位于新街街道南部，地处杭金衢高速萧山东出口一带，东边以杭金衢高速为界，西边到03省道，南边接104国道，北边临北塘河。[1]

村名的由来：长山由西至东绵延约2.5公里，村位于长山东端的尾部，故名山末址。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

解放后，村由山址头、小湾头、石桥头三个自然村组成。[2]

地理环境[edit]

村地以水网平原为主，内地面积1.6平方千米，耕地0.64平方千米，围垦面积0.391平方千米。[1]

人口民族[edit]

2021年底统计，村有1009户、人口4223人；其中女性2221人，约占全村人口的52%，非农人口1261人。[1]

经济[edit]

改革开放后，特别是2000年以来，村以浙江（中国）花木城为依托扩大花木生产，全村约八成五劳动力从事苗木生产。[2]

文化[edit]

村先后获萧山区文化村、文明村、广播电视示范村、现代化建设标兵村、村民自治模范村等称号。[1]

山末址村于2023年3月获认定，系2022年度的「浙江省善治村」。[2]
