盛中村位于新街街道东北部，紧靠钱塘江大堤，与萧山经济技术开发区接壤，后解放河与大治河从境内通过。[1]

村名来自原“盛围里”的中部，故称盛中。[1]

村南有浙江（中国）花木城，东有萧山国际机场，萧山国际机场路穿村而过。[1]

人口民族[edit]

2011年底，村有村民1321户，总人口4005人，村域面积3.5平方千米，耕地3596亩，共26个村民小组。[1]

经济[edit]

农业以花卉苗木为主；多数农户种苗木，村里还有园林工程公司和苗木经销单位。[1]

文化[edit]

2005年与2006年，村两度被评为新街镇先进党组织。2008年11月，村班子通过萧山区“和谐班子”的考核评定。2022年10月，村入选2022年淘宝村名单。[1][2]
