红垦社区位于新街街道，南接机场高速，北靠钱塘江，辖有红垦老小区、红垦新小区、嘉泽苑小区及巧克力公馆小区。[1]

社区名称来自红垦农场，因社区位于红垦农场区域内而得名。[2]

到2022年5月底，辖区住户2045户，总人口5600余人。党员有88名，党组织为党总支，下属4个党支部与1个统合型支部。[1]

文化[edit]

社区党群服务中心设有文化家园、红色讲堂、协商驿站、退役军人服务站、儿童之家等功能室，向党员和群众开放。[1]

2023年1月，社区的名称出现在浙江省2022年度省级名单中，类别为「民主法治村（社区）」。[2]
