新宜社区位于新街街道，成立于2018年1月，管理郡望府、钱塘东南家园两个住宅小区，以及印时代中心单身公寓和乐融荟商圈。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

四至范围：南面以戚枫路为界，北面到建设四路，东边靠塘新线，西边临香樟路。[1][2]

人口民族[edit]

据2022年发布的社区概况，住户共5300户，另有商户300余户与出租房约1200户；入住人口约两万人，其中户籍3275人。居民以来杭创业的80后、90后为主，来自29个省市自治区，另有10个少数民族。[1]

文化[edit]

社区以“新宜5化”作为基层治理的做法，又打造了“新宜6融”文化品牌。获得的荣誉有：杭州市四星级文化家园；另有杭州市最强党支部的称号，以及萧山区文明社区。[1][2]
