地理环境[edit]
据2022年发布的概况页，社区北以南解放河为界，南以建设二路为界，东以宁安直河为界，西以金二直河为界，面积1.2平方千米。[1]
人口民族[edit]
同一概况页记人口2401人。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
地名取自原金星第一农业生产合作社。这块土地原是钱江外侧的滩涂，约八十年前，坍江灾民和绍兴农民来此开垦定居。建国后归由夏乡管辖，合作化时期设金星第一农业社，公社化初期隶属城北公社宁围大队。[2]
随后归宁围公社，设金一大队。1984年改为金一村，属宁围乡；1992年起划入宁围镇。2005年5月，土地被征用，村民改为非农业户口，金一村随即变为金一社区；2014年起属宁围街道。[2]
文化[edit]
2021年5月，社区被命名为「萧山区2020年度“平安村（社区）”」。[2]
