地名由来[edit]
过去这里煎晒盐，泥蓬多为横式，村名由此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明嘉靖年间（1522至1566年），此地多植桑、种杏，有「九里桑园」「十里杏花村」之称。民国17年（1928年）隶属南阳村自治会，民国36年（1947年）为南阳镇九保、十保。1949年6月分为街东村、十村和蓬园乡属地。[1]
地理与设施[edit]
村部设在南虹公路横蓬段中，街道的工业配套园区位于村的前半部。村域北邻河庄街道的建设村，东面隔直河与义蓬街道的蓬园村相望。[1][2]
荣誉[edit]
村于2020年9月入选2020年淘宝村名单，2022年10月又入选2022年淘宝村名单。「2021年浙江省卫生村」称号在2021年12月授予村。「萧山区2020年度平安村（社区）」称号于2021年5月授予村。[1]
