赭东村是南阳街道下辖的行政村，位于街道西南部，南面靠近萧山国际机场。村在赭山的东面，故得名。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村域在清雍正年间淤涨成陆。1947年时有五保、六保归赭东乡管辖；1949年后改属赭山乡，1951年设赭东乡政府于此。1958年属瓜沥公社赭东管理区，1961年属赭山公社，1969年为赭东大队，隶属南阳公社，1971年又改属赭山公社。1984年起称赭东村。[2]

人口与产业[edit]

据2022年11月公布的概况，村内设21个村民小组和1个居民组，有党员165名，村党委下辖5个网络支部。全村1078户，4216人。[1]

村内发展出伞业制造、五金机械、家具塑料、服装化纤等行业，共有企业36家。农业以小麦、油菜、晚稻为主，养殖业有生猪、蟹、虾、鱼等。[2]

安置小区[edit]

2008年机场二期征迁时，约608户村民搬入赭东家苑安置小区。该小区2013年被评为杭州市十大美丽家园。2021年村里建成数字乡村服务平台，推进「数字型美丽家园」建设。[1][3]

荣誉[edit]

「2021年浙江省卫生村」称号在2021年12月授予村。「萧山区2020年度平安村（社区）」称号于2021年5月授予村。[2]
