靖南村在靖江街道西南方向，离街道约2公里；北侧邻接杭州萧山国际机场，南侧与瓜沥镇的靖一村相连。[1]

名称由来[edit]

村位于靖江殿的南面，故名靖南。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

此地古为钱塘江江道，淤涨为沙地后，有绍兴等地农民迁来定居，渐成村落。1950年10月进行土地改革，1956年办起靖三农业社。[2]

公社化时曾隶属靖江管理区及瓜沥公社农场；1961年改为靖江公社靖南大队。1984年定名靖南村，归靖江乡；1985年改属靖江镇，2009年9月起归靖江街道。[2]

概况[edit]

在册人口共3017人，村民小组为20个，党员94名。耕地面积2644亩，内含围垦土地757亩和内地1887亩。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年5月，村被命名为「萧山区2020年度平安村（社区）」。[1]
