靖美社区位于靖江街道办事处西南，占地0.35平方公里。[1]社区四至：东到童家殿河，南抵靖南路，西以靖江直河为界，北临广场路。[2]社区于2020年2月27日获萧山区人民政府批准设立。[2]

社区辖区由靖美华庭、空港国际、玉龙湾等楼盘，靖东和花神庙两处安置区块以及待建区块组成。社区内还有靖江街道第一个高层安置小区。[2]
