历史沿革[edit]
此地原属钱塘江江道，明末清初淤涨成陆，之后绍兴、马鞍等地的农民来此定居垦种。1949年5月后属甘露乡第九、第十一村。[2]
1955年初，这里先分设金星、联盟、联众、联丰四个农业社，次年并成五一农业社。公社化后称五一大队，1964年改称花神庙大队，1981年复称花神庙大队。[2]
1984年定名花神庙村，归甘露乡管辖；1992年划入靖江镇，2000年5月成立居委会，2005年8月正式改为社区。[2]
地理环境[edit]
社区面积1.37平方公里。东侧以生产湾为界，与甘露村隔湾相对；南边连着瓜沥东方村；西边是黎明和伟南两个社区；北至义南湾。申达路与街道环城东路在社区内交叉通过。[1]
人口[edit]
社区人口2861人，外来人口700余人。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年5月，社区被命名为「萧山区2020年度平安村（社区）」。[1]
