裘江新村成立于2005年5月，由杜家塘、打纸埭两村合并而成，位于新塘街道南端。03省道横穿村境，村与绍兴市相邻。[1][2]

名称[edit]

村内原有裘江寺庙，周围的田畈称裘江畈。2005年，原裘江办事处区域内各村相继转制为社区，唯独本村仍沿用“裘江”二字，以作纪念。[1]

村内农业以苗木和蔬菜种植为主，现有羽绒、棉纺、制衣、五金等行业的企业。[1]
