村子在萧山商业城东侧，北靠萧绍东路，南抵杭甬铁路，东接五联村，西连油树下。[2]

名称[edit]

据博雅地名网，许氏于南宋后期自诸暨球山迁至萧山浦阳镇横塘倪，后又分支到此。村落分河东、河西，河东称东许，河西称西许。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时此地归五都三图。1949年5月以后，先后属新塘乡与和劳富乡。1957年10月合为华东农业社，1961年3月，西许、东许、西湖三个大队各设管委会，1964年三大队合为“三联”大队。[3]

经济[edit]

1997年起，村被评为亿元村、经济强村与红旗标兵村。2003年，村实行集体经济股份制改革。[2]
