村在新塘街道北部，东侧挨着和平桥村，西面与涝湖村相邻，北靠长山。104国道与萧山东入城口高速穿过村境。[2][3]

名称[edit]

据博雅地名网，明万历年间，村中一位蔡姓姑娘（名瑞莲）每天用小渡船送侄儿到河南的学堂读书。她出资在河中建起木桥，木桥易毁，又改建石桥。村民为纪念她，便把桥与村都称作姑娘桥。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年10月，村中设农会；1954年10月办起新建农业社；1958年10月改称姑娘桥大队。1984年2月此地更名为姑娘桥村，1995年划归城厢镇城东办事处，2001年7月并入新塘街道。[1]

征迁[edit]

自2010年起，村内历经数次征迁，2017年整村进行城中村改造，目前已整村拆迁。大部分居民安置于和平桥与姑娘桥两个区块。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年5月，村获得萧山区2020年度平安村（社区）称号。[1]
