和平桥村位于新塘街道东北角，在商业城以东约5公里处。东邻娄下陈村，南连朱家坛村，西接五联村与姑娘桥村。村名以村境内的和平桥得名。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年，此地设农会。1956年10月，凌港等五个农业社相继组建；1957年10月，它们合并为城东农业社。1958年10月改为城东大队，1961年3月另设和平桥大队管委会。[1]

1984年2月，此地设为和平桥村，隶城东乡。1992年至2001年6月，归城厢镇城东办事处管辖，2001年7月起划入新塘街道。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年5月，村获得萧山区2020年度平安村（社区）称号。[1]
