油树下社区位于虎山路与萧绍路一带，浙赣铁路与萧甬铁路穿过社区，周围四面环河。社区沿用自然村名。[1]
名称[edit]
据博雅地名网，村里原有一株百年以上的榆树，人称“油树”，村因此得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1956年7月，本村并入紫霞农业社；1958年10月，改为紫霞生产队。1961年3月，河西大队管委会成立；1981年9月易名油树下大队。1984年6月改为油树下村，2001年7月隶属新塘街道，2005年5月改称油树下社区。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年5月，社区获得萧山区2020年度平安村（社区）称号。[1]
