塘里陈社区位于新塘街道中部，由后塘、滨头、槐花三个自然村组成。新螺路与南环路东西横穿社区，新塘街道办事处即设在这一带。[1][2]

名称[edit]

据社区概况，此地村落形成已逾千年，原名唐里庄。南宋初，东阳陈姓迁来此地聚族而居，遂称塘里陈。[2]
