下潦社区位于金城路北侧，因所辖大下潦、小下潦两个自然村而得名。社区2005年5月由村改为社区。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年5月后，此地属劳富乡，合作化时曾设协兴、同兴、下潦三个农业社。三高农业社由大下潦、小下潦与西陈三处于1956年并组而成；公社化初期归城东公社涝湖生产队管辖。[1]
1961年设下潦大队，1984年改称下潦村，1992年划入城厢镇城东办事处，2001年7月归新塘街道，2005年5月改为下潦社区。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年5月，社区获得萧山区2020年度平安村（社区）称号。[1]
