名称[edit]
据博雅地名网，童姓一支从一都孙村的童家桥分迁至此，因童姓聚居，村北又有一片大田畈，遂得名畈里童。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
民国时此地属一都八图。新中国成立后曾属通惠乡，1958年为畈里童生产队，隶属裘江公社。[3]
