黄家河社区位于蜀山街道西部，东侧以蜀山路为邻，西面毗连湘湖旅游区。据2022年11月发布的社区概况，该社区的辖区面积为1.5平方千米，管辖人口为969人，辖区内含黄家河老年过渡房。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

早年村内以黄姓聚居，村前有一条河，因此得名黄家河。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年5月后此地归西蜀乡。农业合作化时曾设山河农业生产合作社。人民公社化时此地为西山大队，隶属城南公社。[1]

1981年改称黄家河大队。[1]

社区概况[edit]

博雅地名网所载的旧数据显示，社区有210户，常住820人，外来人口2190人，共有3个自然村、8个村民小组，党员57人。[1]

2021年5月，社区被命名为「萧山区2020年度平安村（社区）」。[1]
