金泰苑社区隶属北干街道，设在萧山新区中心，2007年1月经批准设立。辖区面积56万多平方米，其四界：北面为金惠路，南面为金城路，西面为金鸡路，东面为市心路。[1][2]
社区包括星云地带、天汇园、建工发展广场、太古广场、帝凯大厦、金浦明苑、东信·莱茵园和众安·国泰花园等8个小区。[1]
