工人路社区隶属北干街道，位于街道西南片，2006年6月成立。社区由原大型国企杭二棉的家属区转型而来。[1][2]
辖区面积0.16平方公里，居民住宅楼共96幢，住户合计2777户；外来人口1934人，党员在册595名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
此地原先是杭二棉的家属生活区。该企业1998年宣告破产，此后为善后遗留事务，陆续设立了杭州二棉离退休人员服务中心以及杭州中兴物业管理中心两个机构。[2]
荣誉与治理[edit]
社区先后获「全国综合减灾示范社区」「浙江省社区规范化档案室」等荣誉。[1]
社区在「58党群共融」治理模式下推广特色服务，成立了社区注册的社会组织「萧山区百老惠睦邻家园服务中心」。[1]
