历史沿革[edit]
1949年5月起属湘湖公社八一大队；此后隶属裘江公社，又转入长山公社，均称柳桥大队。1992年划入城厢镇城北办事处，2002年4月改属北干街道，称柳桥社区。辖内原有柳下桥、王家山、吴家山3个自然村，因拆迁，于2011年注销。[2]
社区1997年由行政村转为居委会，2022年6月改为城市社区。[1]
社区建设[edit]
社区内设图书馆、百姓健身房与居家养老照料中心，另设文化家园和儿童之家，并建立了「一站式」便民服务大厅。[1]
