北干街道是杭州市萧山区的一个街道，位于萧山中心城区，为全区的政治、文化与商贸中心。街道北面连着萧山经济技术开发区，西侧与滨江区西兴街道为邻，东侧接新街街道，南侧紧挨城厢街道。[1][2]

街道的前身是城厢镇下的城北办事处与北干街道办事处，二者于2001年合并。目前管辖1个行政村、2个转制社区和37个城市社区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宣统二年（1910年）此地为城北乡。新中国成立后，1958年划归城北公社，1984年5月恢复为城北乡，隶属城北区。1992年，该乡并入城厢镇，成为其下的城北办事处。[2]

1999年12月设北干街道，2001年7月城北办事处并入其中，形成现在的建制。[2]

地理环境[edit]

街道位于萧山北干山北侧，东西向最长约6.41千米，南北向最长约5.17千米，面积19.8平方千米。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

大运河萧山火车西站段历史文化街区横跨城厢街道与北干街道，是大运河世界文化遗产的一部分，也是运河沿线铁路遗存最集中的一片区域。2020年10月21日，杭州市人民政府将其公布为杭州市历史文化街区，保护区划的总用地面积约57.08公顷。[3]

街区内有全国重点文物保护单位「大运河-浙东运河萧山段」、市级文物保护点蒙山东岳庙，以及六朝至宋代地下文物埋藏区1处。山体有蒙山与金鸡山两座。[3]
