回澜南苑社区位于城厢街道东侧，1998年建成。社区东临通惠路，西临回澜路，南抵大通河，北面是人民路[1]。社区名称取自北侧的古回澜桥[2]。

小区占地约9.7万平方米，绿化面积31939平方米。住宅楼49幢，楼道135个。住户1428户，人口4985人。党员中在册129名，在职199名，工作人员10位[1]。
