湘湖社区位于萧山区城厢街道西部，单元面积约25.3公顷，以湘湖家园一个小区为主，另包括头坞新村[1]。
人口与党建[edit]
辖区内共2495户，户籍4116人，常住7651人。在册党员215人，在职145人，流动党员129人[1]。
荣誉与改造[edit]
2023年，社区入选首批全国完整社区建设试点，全国试点共106个。此后又获「第三批浙江省未来社区」「首批浙江省现代社区」称号，另有「红色根脉」强基示范社区，以及五星级社区服务综合体的认定[1]。
服务设施[edit]
社区开设湘湖大食堂，配有文化礼堂、康养服务中心与共享书房，另有湘湖幼儿园、托育中心、成长驿站和室外微公园，形成「15分钟服务圈」[1]。
