潘水社区位于城厢街道最南端，东临南门江，南面接南秀路，西侧为新河长浜，北侧靠新开河[1]。社区2002年3月成立，辖区含四个小区：潘水苑、潘水南苑、南峰公寓与万丰公寓[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1998年设立居民委员会。2002年4月，潘水第一、二、三、四居民区与潘水南苑居民区合并，组成社区[2]。

人口与设施[edit]

楼幢118座，户数3241，常住8906人；在册党员412名，工作人员13名。周边公共服务有幼儿园、银行、菜场、社区卫生服务中心，以及老年活动室[1]。
