辖区9个小区，其中有「南江公寓」「南欣公寓」「南峰公寓」，以及南门江住宅区。新开河和外仙家河环绕社区，居民依河而居[1]。

荣誉有省级节水型小区、省级垃圾分类示范小区，另有省级「15分钟品质文化生活圈」与杭州市绿色社区[1]。
